The clover fork pin is one of my favourite pins to use as it allows you to get neat and matching points, simply align your seams then place the pin in with one prong on each side of your seam. The clover fork pins are so fine yet sharp and they lay nice and flat in your work making life easier reduce unwanted shifting while sewing leading to  neater results. 
 
One of my favourite uses for the clover fork pin is pinning seams, as it allows for a neat and accurate seam as the pin prevents the seam on the underside of my work from moving around and shifting while sewing
